There are very few days that I am in a...well bubbly mood is the best way to describe it.



I woke up happy today and so far I've remained that way.

Me and my nephew when I want to change his diaper...god I love the kid



Me: Come here so I can change your diaper

Him: No Eww

Me: Yes that is why I want to change you

Him: No pooped

me: yes you did now get over here

him: no you eww

(and the you comes from us pointing to pictures and saying that is you)



Which leave me chasing him around the house for the next few minutes.

And after I change him



Him: Me not eww. Tank you

I swear to god I am never letting my kids watch Thomas the Train...



My nephew is obsessed with them to the point where we point to him and say his name and he points to himself and says "no Choo-choo"



of course it is hilarious but jeez. He gave himself his own nickname apparently. It's not like his name isn't already short. FOX...or Choo-choo? which is easier to say?



Though my other nephew who is the same age has it come out more like Fuks...mmh maybe choo-choo is better

I so called it. Well dreamed about it first then told them weeks ago when I knew they were going that it would happen while they were gone but nope they just laughed and said nope not yet. That they wanted to wait for things to settle more that he is back from Iraq and see how things go...



My baby brother and his girlfriend of 2ish years (it's been on and off) are getting married next month when they fly to Hawaii with a family celebration when they get home. Of course they only decided to go to Hawaii two weeks ago.



Which the little boy I have been taking care of for the last year and a half will officially be my nephew! (even though i have always considered him to be)

Things I am thankful for this week:



the swamp cooler

swimming pool

sprinklers

my new bedroom ceiling fan



just need an air conditioner and I will be set





Oregon really needs to get it's weather in check. One week we are in 60ish or below weather and pouring rain and the next it is almost hitting 100 and the sun is killing us.



Dear god at least let it stay in the 70's...i don't mind, but the 90's or higher is plain ridiculous.
